Our goal is to help you achieve and maintain optimal dental health through restorative dental treatment and periodic preventive dental care. Through good communication and a free exchange of ideas, we hope to earn your respect and confidence so we may build a relaxed and friendly relationship.
If you have questions, please feel free to ask them. Our office staff is well qualified to answer your questions. If your call requires Dr. Martinez' personal attention, please understand that it is unfair to interrupt the services and care being provided to our patients during our regular office hours. Please feel free to leave a message with the receptionist and Dr. Martinez will return your call after regular hours.
Since our practice differs from a general dentistry practice, please allow us to explain our office procedures.

First Appointment
Your first appointment is an initial consultation. We ask you to complete the registration forms before coming to the office for this appointment. We also ask that you bring any x-rays you have to your appointment. If you do not have x-rays, then one will be taken upon your arrival to our office. Dr. Martinez will meet with you to discuss your dental concerns and needs. We will then schedule your next appointment, known as the diagnostic appointment.
Your diagnostic appointment will consist of a thorough dental examination, a study of models or impressions of your mouth and any other necessary x-rays. Dr. Martinez will review the results of the examination and analyze the models to determine the best treatment for you.
Once Dr. Martinez has formulated a treatment plan, you will return to our office for a consultation appointment. At this appointment, the treatment plan options will be presented in detail, the fees will be presented, and any questions or concerns about the treatment will be addressed. Once a treatment plan is agreed upon, appointments will be arranged in the most convenient and efficient sequence to achieve our goals.

Payment
We will be happy to furnish a written estimate of the professional fees after the results of the examination have been discussed. Unless special arrangements are made in advance, payment is due at the time the treatment is performed. All fees are provided prior to any treatment rendered. When extensive treatment is needed, a mutually acceptable payment schedule will be arranged and a "Truth-In-Lending" contract will be completed, as required by law.
A financial arrangement will be agreed upon before beginning treatment. In order to keep our office efficient, all payment plans are due at the time services are rendered. We do not participate with insurance company contracts and therefore all insurance reimbursements will be sent to you. Please be aware that payment is due in full at the time of treatment and any insurance benefits will be sent directly to you.
We accept cash, personal checks and the following credit cards:

Appointment Cancellations
We make every effort to maintain a punctual schedule, and your prompt arrival is appreciated. Since time is precious and all of our appointments are scheduled in advance, we require a 24-hour advance notice when an appointment must be cancelled or changed. Should an emergency result in the change of your appointment, we will put forth every effort to provide you with 24 hours notice. We understand how last minute changes can upset carefully planned schedules; therefore, we reserve the right to charge for appointments that are cancelled or broken without adequate notice. Please keep in mind advance notice of your cancellation allows us to offer that time to another waiting patient.
